I was at Jekyll Brewing a few months ago with work group and we had a rough day! We were looking for the exceptional food and drinks that we had heard about online. We got there around 4ish and waited forever for a server. We had Thu go find one. Everyone 's food came out at different times..everyone 's fries looked like some one ate half of them before it got to the table and they witere cold. Drinks were bland. It was a huge let down. Nothing like the food looks like on-line. I would never spend money at this place again. Staff seemed annoyed to be working.
We went to Jekyll Brewing last night, and we had a great time! The top floor has a rooftop seating area, outside and in. The beer selection is great. All the different brews we tasted were fantastic. My personal favorite was the pineapple habanero IPA. Not only did the beers hit the spot, the food was delicious, too. The bison-wagu beef smash burger and the fries is what I highly recommend. I'll be back!
Good: Great outdoor patio with views to overlook Alpharetta square and fans to keep you cool on those hot nights. Thomas was a very good, attentive server. Drinks were good, I recommend the Gin Collins if you don't like your drinks too sweet.(Very) Bad: Skip the waygu burger the bottom half of the bun came out so wet it was like it was dipped in water.
I’ve been here a few time and no complaints. So far the best appetizer we have tried have been the hush puppies. We decided to order a 1/2 dozen of oysters and they were great but will say a little pricer than other restaurants that sell them in the area. I haven’t seen any photos of the oysters on Google so I figured I’d post what they look like. Réservez une table maintenant
Loved the rooftop atmosphere, the fun vibe and great service! The only thing was, the beers weren't impressive enough to order a second one which is too bad! Sampled 2 or 3 options and wasn't impressed. Colorado breweries rock the craft beer industry, so I'd say, go for the fun atmosphere, but better beer exists elsewhere,
