I am not sure what has happened, but this place is awful. There were plenty of staff, and only one seemed to even care about the customers. As I waited, i noticed another customer growing very irritated, He waited and waited for his order. Eventually he advised to just refund his money and left. I finally got my Chicken Bacon Ranch which I had been really wanting for a while) and had to take it to go. When I got home, it wasn't even the right sandwich. I ordered from one of the third, but made a mistake not to order tonight enough to feed my 2 neffen that were moved in a chair for my father in the age of 81 years. Awful customer service!!! We went in on a Sunday afternoon. No other customers. There were about 6 people working. One was helping door dash. 4 in the back cooking. One stocking chips. We waited about 5 minutes and the asked the girl stocking chips if we could be helped. She said they were really busy so it would be a minute. So we waited again while she stocked the chips. Finally someone helped us. The person making the sandwiches knocked the bread for the top on the floor. Then tried to just give us the sandwich without the tip bread. We spent about 1:2 hour there and $70 on 4 large sandwiches without hardly a word from the people making our sandwiches. I know why people go to jimmy johns.
I even paid for the lunch of the person behind me in line, and after I finished my meal, Chase surprised me with a free sub coupon for my next visit. He said, “That was really nice of you, and we like to reward those who pay it forward.” In addition, he took the time to ask about my meal and suggested a new sauce for my next visit. To top it all off, he offered me a cookie for the road! The service was so exceptional that I will definitely be coming back. I was in the mood for a sandwich for lunch, but this place was not close to my job site. It was a busy spot, and I decided to try the original Italian sandwich. When I finally got my sandwich, it was made with rosemary bread, which I didn't enjoy. The bread was tough, and the crust at the bottom made it even more difficult to eat. On a positive note, the broth that came with it wasn't bad.
The food was good, but the customer service left much to be desired. They seem to prioritize online orders over customers dining in. There was a long line wrapping around the door, yet no one was helped except for those placing online orders. I wasn't expecting to be served in a timely manner, but this was quite frustrating.
