Was invited for Iftar by a family during Ramadan and wanted to bring appropriate halal foods. The gentleman greeted me promptly after finishing his prayer and was very helpful and informative. He explained the popular foods and several other customs that I found useful later that evening during the breaking of the fast. All the items I bought at Jerusalem Halal Market were wonderfully received and brought smiles to the children's eyes. Definitely the place to go for great tasting halal food during Ramadan.
