I don’t visit JJ's often, but I usually love the Unwich—until today. I ordered my #9 without tomatoes and watched it being made through the drive-thru. I saw them take the onions out of my Unwich, but when I asked about it, they denied removing anything. My Unwich ended up being just meat, cheese, and mayo. There was no oil and vinegar, and definitely no onions. Disappointed, Jimmy John’s.
The drive-thru was fast, and now I understand why. I'm missing half of my sandwich, and I had paid extra for avocado, which is also absent. I requested extra onion, but that’s missing too. For a sandwich shop that charges a premium, I expect the orders to be complete. I'm a dissatisfied customer.
Typically, the service is quick, and the food is generally consistent. I usually order the Unwich lettuce wraps, but the amount of filling can vary. Sometimes they have more ingredients, and other times, there’s less. It really depends on who prepares them on any given day.
