I have ordered a sandwich multiple times as described on the menu, and it's consistently disappointing. The sandwiches come with very little filling, often missing at least one ingredient, and the bread is nearly stale, resembling more than just the crust. The first time I thought it might be a mistake, but after several visits, I've noticed a pattern that suggests one of three issues: 1) a budget constraint or low stock leading to smaller portions (and customers should be informed about this before paying for a subpar product), 2) insufficient training for new staff, or 3) a cost-cutting approach that sacrifices quality for profit. I've decided to take my business elsewhere.
The sandwich was up to the JJ standards, fast and fresh! However the cashier gave my nephew his sandwich with no bag, napkins or even a thank you for shopping. Why would you give a customer their food like it's a football (when oil will leak everywhere) instead providing proper things your suppose to give a customer? IDK but I told him to give it back and never let a business who wants your money treat you like your not valued. She then provided what she should have in the first place. I did a mobile order and it was wrapped and packaged correctly, maybe because she didn't know who would show up? I will give them another surprise inspection hopefully with better service.
I just dropped $45 on sandwich fortifications at hyvee because jj general manager told me it was impossible (that's right, people. it seems to be pushing against the laws of thermodynamics! to make an Italian sandwich wrap. company that explains it is an inventory question to ensure the delivery of 'limited time' elements. all managers had to invert me for 2 sandwiches, a limited and a regular, and obviously also the laws of thermodynamics to use a 's fantasy and do their job well. super lame company bootlicking experience.
A quick place to get a delicious sub. I was greeted warmly by the staff who quickly took my order and had it out in just a few minutes. The #2 roast beef was delicious. The place was clean including the bathroom. I got to order it the way I wanted and had no problems. I'm sure I will be back. The server who took my order was incredibly charming and friendly. He always had a smile on his face and clearly knew what he was doing, which is quite refreshing in a city filled with less capable staff! The food was amazing; I'd never tried Jimmy John's before, and I absolutely loved the homemade bread.
