My wife and I were looking for a quick, cheap meal on the Friday night. We ate at “Jimmy’s Recipe.”A busy eatery on the 2nd floor of the food hall inside Macquarie Place. The menu is quite limited but the food was delivered quickly and was tasty. The potion size was generous and a cost was (for Sydney) quite cheap. We are looking forward to eating there again.
I missed Jimmy's Recipe several times all because I didn't go to the upper levels and a friend of mine told me about it so I decided to go and it was GREAT! The food was so good and the naan that came with it was amazing and I really just can't wait to go again. It's awesome and if you like spicy Malay dishes then this is a place to go for sure. Enjoy!
Great Asian street food, sunny seating for lunch near picture windows. Service good but not overly efficient. Food spicy and well presented. House wine was a bit of a let down - would go well with cheese so could be improved to compliment the food. Overall pleasant and good value in a part of the City which overcharges because of the location.
Walked past and decided to drop by. Had char kuey teow, a roti canai and assam laksa. Nothing to shout about, it was just okay. Price wise, similar to other malaysian food outlets. Réservez une table maintenant
There was 5 of us and the food was very good ... Nice & hot plus quick service and the server was very sweet & polite .... Will definitely go back again when down in Sydney.
We had a friends reunion here. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. One can probably find more flavoursome places but it was quite good value for the price.
Reasonably priced little cafe, No table service. Chicken curry lacked flavour. Rendang cooked beautifully but needed more spice and flavour. Laksa very nice.
