Went to Jin Myungdong for dinner with minimal expectations, and now it has become one of my go-to places for some serious korean dumpling eating. Their kimchi side dish was exceptionally fresh and their king dumplings were so delicious...highly recommend ordering the one with kimchi. If you want to try both regular and kimchi dumplings ask for half and half. Also tried their Bulgogi Jungsik set meal which was good but not memorable. Their cold buckwheat noodle Mul Naengmyun was ok but would taste better with soup mixed in with the noodles. Prices are reasonable and their service is great. The restaurant is better for smaller groups since space is limited and they close relatively early so make...

- #1 Kalguksu - #16 Bossam Kalguksu Combo - #18 Marinated Sliced Pork - #24 Bossam We arrived on a Monday afternoon and had a brief 10-minute wait. We enjoyed the #16 and #18 in particular. The service was friendly and prompt! We loved the food so much that we decided to return before leaving Toronto to get our own #1 Kalguksu and share a #24 Bossam. The Kalguksu broth was simple yet incredibly flavorful, and the noodles were delightfully soft and chewy—truly a warm embrace for the soul! The pork was tasty, but the true highlight was the Bossam! The meat was wonderfully soft and tender, and paired with the sauces—especially the shrimp sauce—and the house kimchi, it was absolutely amazing!

We got Kimchi Dumpling, Meat KalGukSu, and Clam KalGukSu. Kimchi Dumpling came in 6 MASSIVE Dumplings that were filled with Kimchi, Pork, Mixed Veggies, these Dumplings were incredibly juicy, tender, and well seasoned! Meat KalGukSu was delicious, it came with Pork Belly slices that were tender, flavourful, paired with their delicious Broth and chewy Noodles, gosh it was amazing! Clam KalGukSu came loaded with sweet Clams, a Shrimp, it also had Veggies and their chewy Noodles! Their Kimchi was also SUPER good, so garlicy, fresh, crunchy, go try it for yourself! Overall, the food here were authentic, delicious, and comforting!

The food was so good?!? Maybe I was just too baked but everything tasted so good. You definitely come out of this very full. Only thing I didn't like was the bulgogi in my meal was a bit dry unless it was submerged in the sauce, but I liked the flavour of it. The mandu was typical of other Korean places and has that herby flavour that I'm not a big fan of but others might enjoy. The food came out pretty quickly and service was polite. The restaurant is kind of small so be prepared to wait especially at dinnertime (even on a weekday) Réservez une table maintenant

Kalguksu: It’s delicious and filling – after all, they are noodles. The broth has a slight spiciness and a good level of saltiness, while the noodles have a delightful springy texture. I’d give it a 7.3 out of 10. Bulgogi: This dish tastes like your average bulgogi. I would rate it a 6.9 out of 10. As for the kimchi, it’s unexpectedly sweet and crunchy, but quite mild in terms of fermentation and sourness. It's probably the sweetest kimchi I've encountered in a Korean restaurant.

The hot pot has a wide varieties of items. It must order with two people portion! The Korean cold buckwheat noodle is very very cold which is too nice and authentic. The unlimited supply of Kimchi is definitely one of the best. Overall this is an excellent Korean noodle and hot pot experience.

Love the noodle! The ox bone soup base is very good. You also get to have a small bucket full of kimchi. And the kimchi is not too sour as compared with other restaurants. Dumpling is soft and tastes good with their homemade soy sauce. Would definitely visit again!

Great value with generous portions at a fair price. Everything is well-seasoned, and there's a good selection of sides, including kimchi. The restaurant is a bit small and doesn't have many seats, but considering their popularity, they manage to accommodate well. Réservez une table maintenant

Best noodles I had in quite some time, although everything else was also tasty. A little bit of a line up at the entrance waiting for a table. Still worth it. The kimchi is famous and I understood why. We enjoyed it very much and will return.
