My experience at this restaurant was just okay. However, it seems like every time I go in to grab a slice, they don't really want my business. Tonight, I ordered one buffalo slice, one cheese slice, and one BBQ chicken slice. First of all, the place is far too smoky to comfortably eat in. After finishing my buffalo slice, I went to the counter to let the cashier know what I had ordered. They charged me $23.66 and had the audacity to give me the other slices in a paper bag. When I asked for a box, they didn't even put the buffalo slice in there. This really frustrated me because when I got home, I realized I paid for four slices but only received three. I absolutely love this restaurant. I've been eating at Joe John’s since they opened, and they never fail to delight my taste buds. Their pizza is hands down the best in Ridgewood and nearby areas—you won’t be disappointed! Their food overall is incredible. You simply must try their penne alla vodka with chicken—it's amazing! My entire family is hooked. I order large trays for every holiday; it’s become a cherished tradition. I’ve also tried several other dishes like the skirt steak pizzaiola, grilled shrimp with veggies, and chicken parmigiana with pasta, and each one has been fantastic. Treat yourself and visit as soon as you can—you’ll fall in love with this place!
EDIT 3/8/24: I just placed my final order tonight. The last three times I’ve ordered, it has taken over two hours to receive my food, and when it finally arrives, it’s lukewarm. I gave them a pass the first time since they had just reopened at their new location. The second time, I thought it was just a one-time issue. But this time is definitely the last straw. Goodbye, Joe and John’s! It was amazing while it lasted. What a disappointment. This used to be one of my favorite places to grab a slice. I've never had anything from there that I didn't enjoy, and the prices were always very reasonable. Plus, they delivered to almost anywhere!
Review update: Had a pizza party in the park and Joe and John?s pizza came through strong. They arrived earlier than they said and were super friendly. It made all the difference in having a successful end of summer pizza party. Muchappreciated. ??. Good, basic pizza. Nothing wrong with it. Although, the wait time is outrageous. I?ve waited an hour and a halffor one plain cheese pie. Multiple times. I continue to order because it?s one of the only decent delivery pizzas in theneighborhood. Order way ahead. Way, way ahead. They?re pretty non-apologetic about it.

I've never written a Google review before, but as I’m moving out of Ridgewood and won’t be able to visit Joe and John’s regularly anymore, I want to express my love for this place. As a lifelong New Yorker, I can confidently say that J and J’s serves the best grandma slice I’ve ever had. The crust and sauce are just right. Every specialty slice I’ve tried here has been fantastic. On top of that, the staff are wonderful—genuinely nice people who are dedicated to making great pizza and providing excellent service.
This is the best pizzeria in Brooklyn! The food is fantastic, and the service and atmosphere are equally wonderful. The staff is always cheerful and very accommodating. I find myself visiting at least three times a week, if not more! Thank you for your excellent service. Looking forward to my next visit!
Driver took our pizza out from the trunk of the car and handed it off and we gave a 4 dollar tip, we go upstairs and this is what it looks like, still delicious but we couldn't enjoy
Food is always on point...Service is always up to par ...Great neighborhood spot...They've just renovated and are expanding the restaurant... Looking forward to the finished product
