We 've been to J G a number of times and always came away more than pleased. Last night however I was surprised to find that my selection fell below expectations? I chose the Chicken Parmesan which I had there before. The portions are always plentiful and comes with a side of pasta. When I took my first couple of forkfuls of the Parmesan I could only taste the breading? After my 3rd attempt, I broke apart the breading to see if in fact there was chicken? I found that the cutlet was pounded paper thin which explained my curiosity. This was a first for me but totally unexpected. Otherwise, the flavor was good. Great little restaurant with fresh food. Atmosphere is relaxed. You're able to come and enjoy your meal without being rushed. Owners are really nice people. Lots of local people dine here. First time here. Relatively new to the area. Heard many good things from family about this restaurant. Ordered take out sausage and peppers and eggplant parm. Both were generous portions and very tasty. The restaurant itself is small but very comfortable. My wife and I will definitely go back for a sit down meal. Réservez une table maintenant
