Joe's Coffee Shop was a huge letdown. The staff consistently had a bad attitude and treated customers disrespectfully. Their equipment was also poorly maintained—I rented an air compressor that was faulty, working only a few hours before refusing to start again during my break. When I called to report the problem, they said no technician was available to help. To make matters worse, they placed a lengthy hold on my credit card for an amount I don’t even remember. Visiting Joe's Coffee Shop feels like you’re begging for something free rather than being a paying customer. Overall, it’s a terrible place to do business, and their menu doesn’t make up for these issues.
Really bad place, these guys are always with attitude, they treat costumers, really bad, besides, they have bad equipment.. I rented an air compressor and it was defective, it worked for a couple of hours and at the break I shut it off and would not start back on, I call them explaining the issue and they told me they did not have any technician on site, to help clients on these matters.. besides they put a large amount of money holding on my credit card, I don’t remember exactly how much they put, but that was in a hold for several days. When you go to their store they treat you like your going to ask for free.. really bad place to work with
Awful food! Not fresh! Ordered a whiting sandwich with fries. Fries were filled with grease that exploded in your mouth when you bite into them and were dark in color like they were fried in old grease. The fish smelled old and the meat inside had a grey color to it. Tasted awful. This is the second time I’ve been disappointed. I thought ok, I’ll try them once more, money wasted and I will never return! Maybe they should just stick to a breakfast menu. Reviews seem be to good in that aspect.
Today, I ordered my usual again and took a few bites of my omelette only to discover yet another strand of hair. I was disgusted! I had no choice but to throw the rest away, once again wasting my money. I will not be returning to this place. Perhaps that’s exactly what they want. PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU EAT!

Joe’s Coffee Shop is my go-to spot for breakfast platters and sandwiches when I’m on my way to work or school. I’ve been a regular for years, and the consistent food quality, combined with the warm hospitality from the owner and her family, always brings me back. I strongly recommend it to anyone in the neighborhood.
Food is good and extremely inexpensive. They allow loitering outside and inside the establishment. A man who was drunk was pressing me I had to call someone to come inside so that I could exit. Now I'm afraid to visit as I may encounter this individual again. Sad as I go 1-2 times a week on average.
If you're ever in New York, or this review inspires you to visit, you'll find it to be a perfect experience, like something out of a movie—a true delight for the heart.
Great service and amazing breakfast foods. Coffee was very so good! Whenever I'm in town this is where I will be getting breakfast.

Service is slow but the food is great. For travelers who don't know the neighborhood beware it's in the hood. Highly recommended!
This restaurant only accepts cash, but the fish and grits with cheese were absolutely delicious!
