Loved it! Had been here before Covid, but just retuning and it's even better. The Cesar salad as an option without an upcharge was amazing . But the dishes were outstanding. I had stuffed chicken ... one of my 2023 top meals. Spouse had chicken parm and it was as good as ever with lots left over ... made for another nights meal. Service outstanding from Chelsea even if she is leaving: Prices were great. Had a similar meal elsewhere for easily 30 or 40% more. This is a new keeper for us. Highly recommended! I am so sad, I do not know what has happened in the last 6 months but Joes Original Italian Martini Bar is no longer my favorite restaurant. The stuffed mushrooms used to be so good, my favorite but now there is onions and other stuff in them, tastes terrible!!! and they upped the price from 10.00 to 16.00!! I would pay 16.00 for the previous ones but not these. Also the Alfredo Di Mare is not as good as it use to be, hardly any flavor and not creamy. Please bring back the old chef!!! Our waitress was very sweet! But would not recommend for a finer restaurant. I have had better Alfredo at other restaurants at half the price. It's a shame!
We quickly asked for the check and left as soon as we could. I understand that you cannot control what customers say, but to hear your staff use such language in a work setting was incredibly unprofessional. We were the only customers present at the time, so there was no way they could have assumed we weren't listening; I made it clear that we were. I wanted to reach out directly, but since I was unable to do so, I felt the need to share this disappointing experience. I really hope you can address this with your team to ensure that they understand what constitutes appropriate workplace conversation in the future.
A classy Italian restaurant with a bar to accommodate both casual and upscale meals. It's more expensive than most restaurants in the area. The food was okay. I went with a group and most of us ordered the special that day 5 layer lasagna, with a broccoli beer cheese soup. The soup was good, but low on broccoli. The lasagna was a very large portion, but unexpectedly dry. The starter bread and butter were very good. The service was good. Our waitress was kind and patient. But, she didn't know the prices of the specials of the day when we asked. Overall, it's a nice restaurant, but not worth the price. Réservez une table maintenant
My first time here and was beyond disappointed. I had heard good things and was excited about dining here. Needless to say it will be my last time. It was the most awful service I have ever received!!! My server was new or never had served before because they were absolutely clueless about everything. I've gotten better service at MacDonalds. You would think with the prices this place has they would do a better a job screening people before they hire them. Seriously please whoever is in charge you need to have better service and training.
This is an exceptional restaurant! They serve the best pasta I've ever had—don't be misled into thinking it's just bar food; it's truly outstanding. You definitely should visit! The service was top-notch, with the staff being very friendly and providing plenty of great suggestions from the menu.
