We ordered two slices of pizza and informed the staff that we would be downstairs at the bar. After waiting for 45 minutes, an employee came down to let us know that the pizza hadn’t met their quality standards and that they were remaking it. I completely understand that mistakes happen—things may get overlooked or burnt—and I’ve dealt with similar situations before. I accepted the explanation, thinking they would bring us a fresh pizza within the next 15 to 20 minutes, or perhaps offer us some breadsticks as a courtesy.

I went there to celebrate my high school graduation with a pizza, and I was truly impressed by what they offered. The pizza was outstanding—gooey cheese, a thin and chewy crust, and flavorful toppings. There was no burnt crust at all, which made it even better. The new owner was friendly and laid-back, making for a pleasant conversation. The atmosphere was cozy, almost like having lunch at home. I highly recommend this place if you're craving delicious pizza that’s greasy but not overly so. The prices are reasonable for the quality; I paid $21 plus $2 in tax for a small pizza, which was more like a medium size at other pizza chains. I will definitely be back again!
I had heard so many great things about this place called Joey's, so I decided to check it out for myself. It’s a charming little spot, and the girl taking orders has brightly colored hair. She might seem a little rough around the edges, but she's really friendly. The restaurant is located in an old Victorian home, with a bar on the lower level and a pizza joint upstairs. If you're in the mood for some classic pizza in a cozy, vintage setting, you should definitely visit Joey's. They're the best! Thanks, Joey!
I calmly called the restaurant to alert them that my order was incorrect. The lady I spoke with started to spass out and completely refuse accountability for the wrong order. She had the nerve to curse me then hung up on me. Just overall poor customer negligence. I asked for management and she mentioned he's not here. Then mentioned that he will back her up. Just absolutely disappointing after being a loyal customer for quite sometime. I would go for a half of star if it was possible

I hope the food is really good because there are always wait times of like 15-25mins. Been here 3 times and dread it for that reason. The workers always seem way busier than they can handle and usually have high strung attitudes when just telling them who you are picking up for
The staff at Joey’s is delightful, as is their pizza. They’re a wonderful local business, a welcome part of the neighborhood. You should definitely check them out if you haven’t already. They do not disappoint. :

The custom slices at this restaurant are delicious, and their apple cheesecake is absolutely incredible! It's light and airy, with just the right amount of sweetness—definitely not too heavy.
Fantastic pizza (the large size is truly massive)! Excellent service and a historic setting. I highly recommend this place.
