Johnny Brusco's New York Style Pizza

Good Louisville Style Pizza not NY!. Tried Johnny Brusco's NY Style Pizza last night. Nice place, Nice Beer and Wine selection, Jasmine was a very nice server, Pizza was good but not as NY-Style as the establishment boasts. Don't get me wrong, we will be back but when a place brags about having NY Style Pizza I expect something more than we got. I am also very tough to please being a NYer who makes his own pizza. All they need to do is work on that crust. It was Crunchy vs. Pliable Bendable. I am also always looking for that drip of oil onto my plate or palm of my hand as I bite into a folded slice... It wasn't there. I enjoyed the entire experience and will be back. 3.5 Stars

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. While we don’t mind teenage staff, they needed constant direction for even the simplest requests—asking for more water, salt and pepper, plates, and a box. One of the servers even mentioned, “I, like, don’t know what wine to recommend because I, like, obviously can’t try them.” Despite the service drawbacks, we had a peaceful meal, perhaps enhanced by the wine and gentle breeze, and we managed to enjoy ourselves. A clever couple at the table next to us brought a bag of sidewalk chalk, which kept all the children entertained throughout the evening without the staff batting an eye.

Best Pizza in Louisville!!!. We go there almost weekly. We love to sit on the patio and enjoy the Norton Commons scenery instead of a parking lot or highway. The garlic knots are to die for and the service has always been great. They have $1 cheese slices on Monday and a Kids specials on Tuesday but my favorite is Wine Down Wednesday with 1⁄2 price wine bottles.

We walked in on a Saturday at noon and noticed that the restaurant wasn't very crowded. As we weren't sure if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated, we ended up waiting for a few minutes... Réservez une table maintenant

The best pizza I've had in ages! The crust was fantastic, with plenty of cheese, just the right amount of sauce, and fresh, crispy vegetables. I had to force myself to stop eating...

Great Pizza, Great Atmosphere. Loved the new york style slices, and especially loved the garlic knots! Also enjoyed eating out on the patio and the overall neighborhood atmosphere.

Johnny Brusco's is one of the original dining options in Norton Commons. It's a great place to enjoy pizza with family and friends. There are tables available indoors...

The service was excellent, and the pizza was delicious. Just a heads up, the large pizza is quite massive, so be ready for it! I will definitely return. Réservez une table maintenant

It can get a bit loud, but the delicious East Coast pizza more than makes up for it, especially considering the incredibly reasonable prices.
