We had been at this venue in the past; however, it had been quite a while. With great regret I have to say that our recent breakfast experience here was truly awful. Any breakfast anywhere, including at small diners in very rural areas, was better by far. My pancake (so very easy to make) was dry, tasteless and literally fell apart when sticking my fork in. My husband’s omelette consisted of 90% canned mushrooms and hardly any egg. Coffee was good, service was friendly. Server brought me a bagel and scrambled eggs after I complained about the “pancake”. She saw right away what was wrong with it. The cream cheese that came with the bagel (small packages) wasn’t natural, one of the ingredients...
It’s a bad sign when I can make better food than a restaurant. I had high hopes for this place to be a fun go to diner, but I had inedible pancakes last Sunday. They tasted very weird dull and strangely salty as if the flour was old or the baking soda wasn’t blended in. I didn’t know you could mess up pancakes until then. Very disappointed to pay for a dish that tasted awful. In retrospect, I should have spoken to the manager but I was focused on catching up with my friends. On the flip side, to be fair, my friends seemed to enjoy their waffles and eggs, so maybe the problem is the chef doesn’t know how to make pancakes.
The server who approached us was quite abrasive and seemed impatient, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I was really dissatisfied with the service and wish there was an option for zero stars. I considered speaking to the manager, but ultimately, I decided against it since we weren't planning to stay and eat there.
What to order: The Grilled Blueberry Muffin Price: $10-15 Overview: This charming little “retro” diner exudes a classic diner atmosphere. While the food and coffee may not be top-notch, the ambiance makes up for it. I visited for breakfast to catch the Boston Marathon and left satisfied. I’d definitely return just for the muffin!

This is a fantastic spot with an extensive menu. It has that cozy, traditional diner vibe that reassures you they'll serve the best omelets and coffee. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it an overall wonderful place to dine.
I remember just after covid going here when they had to surcharge egg dishes saying the prices went way up. Now the price of eggs has come down.. two for a i breakfast $50! (Plus tip) Meal is still llll
Great place, can’t believe I hadn’t discovered it sooner! The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Above average onion rings and cole slaw. Traditional if not entirely comfy booth setups. Good food.
