Are pizza was a little dry there was not enough sauce but it tasted okay just okay however delivery was $5 and the delivery person acted as if I lived miles and miles away I literally is a little over 5 miles away from the restaurant that's not that far he acted as if he was put out and expected more of a tip I gave him $2 with a $5 delivery fee that 7 Bucks I don't have that kind of money and he gets at least half of that I used to deliver pizzas and I got that delivery charge when I delivered pizzas that was part of my pay plus they paid me a paycheck so I probably won't be ordering from John's pizza ever again because I wasn't thrilled with the food or the delivery
Ordered 3 steak dinners 1 medium rare ,it was medium well and Ordered 2 medium well they were so well done it was dry and like chewing leather. I called and they said they would switch them out . I said im not driving all the way back there . we live by Rockford Speedway they said well we'll give you a 20 dollar credit... really .....20 bucks for 96 bucks....dont add up ....i should have took a video of me trying to squeeze juice out of it...
I need to miss something because the pizza was so bad that we threw it out. it was dry, the sauce has no taste, and the crust tastes like karton. the chicken parmesan was not better. the chicken was gumy, the pasta overboiled and the soss again lacked some taste. 2 stars because the blueberry cheesecake is really delicious.
Sucks! Can't order what you want! Have to order it their way or no way. If I'm paying for it and willing to pay extra for it, I should be able to get what I want. I wasn't asking for anything un reasonable. Just an extra piece of meat. I'll take my business elsewhere and tell anyone who asks to go elsewhere. Réservez une table maintenant
This is one of the best restaurants in Rockford! My husband and I order delivery for his mom every week. Jen typically takes our order and she personally makes sure the driver contacts us before delivery to my mother-in-laws. They go above and beyond! The service is exceptional and the food is delicious!
We’ve been eating at John’s since 1983. The pizza, pasta, and fish are all excellent! John, himself, regularly visits each table to welcome you and ensure everything is prepared to your satisfaction. Owned and run by great family people! Have a scoop of spumoni for dessert!
a Rockford Institute serving Italian and American cuisine. I thought eating was decent, not spectacular. I would be willing to give it another try, but I was not overly impressed by the pizza. service was great and they made a booming lunch. Réservez une table maintenant
