First, expect to wait. The food is not prepared until it is ordered. However, it was DEFINITELY worth the wait. Do not think you will run in and out. This is not fast food. The menu is seasonal so what was offered a few months ago may not be on the menu today. The 4 cheese mac and cheese was actually homemade (in taste) and excellent. I had to smash the crab cake because it was too big to fit in my mouth. It didn't have much if any filler, it was great. I ate at the counter. Most of the people that came in were regulars. They were all ages. The atmosphere was laid back. It was my first visit but I will definitely be back, by myself and with the kids.
I discovered this restaurant through Google, and it's quickly become my favorite spot, especially for Taco Tuesday—I'm absolutely hooked! It's black-owned, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. I've never encountered any issues; my meals always arrive hot, and the drinks are refreshing and cold. The breakfast is incredible—you'll be satisfied after just three bites! Honestly, this is some of the best food I've ever had. Let’s support black-owned businesses!
OMG! Tried this spot two times now. The first time I went I got breakfast. Your simple bacon, eggs, toast and hash browns was nothing but ordinary. So much flavor in a simple breakfast staple. So good that I had to try a second time. This time I got a lunch/dinner. I got the bbq wings with mac cheese and spinach as a side. AMAZING! once again simple meal with so much flavor. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
Had the shrimp and grits, scrambled eggs and a side of Mac and cheese. Everything was DELICIOUS. The mac and cheese could've been seasoned a lot more but it was pretty decent. The blueberry lemonade was nice and sweet. Would definitely return.

This is an amazing restaurant led by a fantastic chef. He's feeding the poor and disenfranchised during the Covid-19 crisis. And the food is phenomenal. Please go there and help the chef pay it forward.
Came here for lunch and we will surely be back! Very nice owner. The food was delicious, we will be back soon. The crab cake sandwich was flavorful. We ate the green beans before even taking a picture!
I really enjoy the food and customer service at this restaurant. It's conveniently located close to my home. The staff are always very friendly. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Good is greasy and this place is never open during the business hours posted I only support black owed business but this is one I will never return to poor unprofessional service!!!
