Jose's Blue Sombrero

Jose’s Blue Sombrero is a great place for phenomenal Mexican food in the village of Wauwatosa. Right next to the Cafe Hollander, they have a nice bar area with TVs, indoor and outdoor terrace with a balcony! The food is really good and we are a great fan of her Fajitas, Fajitas Tacos, Burritos and signature Mexican entrees. They also have a wide selection of margaritas, both frozen and on the rocks, including a delicious thin margarita. Our favorite part of all, they have a guacamole cart and make fresh guacamole table page with the ingredients of your choice. Definitely worth a try when you're in the area!

The freshly made guacamole is amazing, recommend if you can only try one thing, go for that. Rest of the meal (enchiladas) was tasty as well. Fun place with a festive spirit. One side note is if you have minors along and plan to sit in the area near the bar, plan on waiting until happy hour ends (6 PM in our case). If you use the convenient Jose's parking, also be sure to validate at the host stand on the way out. Overall, very good!

Take the woman and toddler occasionally here. The back room has a great view of the passing trains our son loves. Prices look high at first glance, but the portions are fantastic. Love their fresh guacamole, made directly at the table and their Fajitas are fantastic!

This is a leap, especially in Happy Hour! Very cool atmosphere decor! Ordered some chips and guacamole a lady rolled a car of all ingredients made it right in front of us! All right!

Phenomenal food, clean restaurant and good service! Will definitely go back! You can't find a better Mexican food out there.
