After a nice morning exploring Harvard, J.P. Licks was the perfect choice for our family. Our child enjoyed a scoop of black raspberry and sharkleberry fin sorbet, diving in immediately and loving every bite. My husband opted for a double scoop affogatto, which he found delicious and just what he needed after arriving in town on a red eye flight. We shared a banana split with my parents, featuring mint cookies and cream, coffee, and coconut almond chip ice cream topped with strawberries, almond pieces, whipped cream, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce. The coffee ice cream had the taste of a frozen cafe au lait, while the coconut almond chip was surprisingly tasty without being too overpowerin...
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The interior is decorated with dark colors, primarily black and green. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is fairly clean, although the bathroom could be a bit cleaner. The staff was somewhat friendly. They have a wide variety of flavors on their ice cream menu and also offer coffee and other snacks. I tried the salted caramel cookies n cream ice cream and it was smooth and creamy, tasting exactly as described. I would definitely return to try other options on the menu.
Great ice cream where small serving is not small by any standard measure (expect each serving to be 1.5-2 times regular size). Texture is a bit soft smooth and the flavor pretty good, all at great prices. Definitely recommend as I was by everyone I met from Boston/Cambridge. They do allow sampling. They are essentially a cafe and ice cream shop merged together. They also sell coffee, soft serve, few dairy free options, pastries (savory too), cupcakes, milkshakes, ice cream cakes and sandwiches etc.
I have traveled long in search of the best strawberry shake. Some good, some pretty average. JPL really brings it with their regular i consider it a light, refreshing energy drink) as well as their superstar thick a powerhouse of awesomeness). Outstanding! And i like those udder coffee cups lol

Customer service is unbeatable. The employees here are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met. They honestly deserve way more money than they currently get. I have never experienced service comparable to what I got here. 100/10
Tried affogato very good! And raspberry lime Ricky was extra ordinarily refreshing! Highly recommend it a shot
We had a poor experience here. Ordering was odd and chaotic! The ice cream was beyond sweet and unenjoyable.
This doesn't need a rating! I usually stop by for a cup of frozen yogurt! So tasty!
