I also ordered a tofu dish with extra spice, but it arrived mild, which clearly indicates a mix-up with the order. On a positive note, the rice served with the tofu was quite good.
As for the restaurant's ambiance, it was clean and well-lit, with a few casual tables for those who prefer dining in. While it was interesting to try, given the price and the confusion with a simple order, I am unlikely to return.
Vegetarian options: There are some tofu dishes available, but the one I ordered had an unexpectedly fatty taste and a rather slimy texture, making it difficult for me to finish.
I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant for their fried chicken. I ordered the Taiwanese fried chicken along with a strawberry tea drink. The chicken was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The portion was generous and quite filling for the price. My order was prepared quickly and the chicken was still hot when I took my first bite. The tea drinks were decent, but nothing to write home about. The drink menu was quite limited, and they didn't have the flavor I originally wanted, even though it was listed.
Every dish I order is exceptional—never anything less. Betty, Amy, Eric, and Kevin are all fantastic and consistently double-check my orders to ensure everything is perfect. Every staff member is friendly and greets you with a smile. The restaurant is also spotlessly clean. As someone with food allergies, I’m pleased to say they are very accommodating, and I wholeheartedly approve! I absolutely love Jumbo Jumbo!

Ordered two milk teas with boba (winter melon and honey dew). The boba was prepared to perfection. We also ordered the Taiwanese chicken to share. We loved the chicken; the pieces were tender and the coating tasted great. While we waited for our order to be prepared we visited with two of the staff and they were very personable. We will definitely go back and order meals and more milk teas.
I give this restaurant a perfect five stars! It's hands down the best Taiwanese chicken in Baltimore. The chicken is incredibly juicy, and the seasoning has just the right amount of spice and flavor. They also offer tables for dining in, making it a nice and cozy spot for a date. The staff is fantastic—very polite and quick to attend to your needs. Highly recommend!
I ordered the Taiwanese chicken combo for myself and a friend, intending it to be a snack, but it turned into our dinner. The food arrived steaming hot, and the drinks were fantastic. The boba is a great price here and you can adjust the sweetness level to your taste. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken is also great. The beef noodle soup is just decent but certainly the best in the area that we've found. Everything else we have tried has been good and the service is great!
