K Lamay's Steamed Cheeseburgers

This is a special place, I always stop by when I'm headed past the area. The burger is juicy and well topped and the buns are very nice; use the wrapper well to help maintain that structure. The cheese is something really special. At least I think it's the cheese that has that amazingly powerful nutty flavor, like swiss cheese on steroids. I went to Ted's once because K's was closed by the time I passed through that day, and I was so incredibly disappointed. I NEED THAT CHEESE. 10/10. As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the holy grails of American burger culture. Part of the cheeseburger Silmarillion. Get it. Eat it. Cherish it till the end of your days, when you at last leave the circle...

The best steamed hamburger I've ever had, which might be the best hamburger I've ever had. Even if the Wisconsin cheddar wasn't an incredible must which it is the burger and bun would stand on its perfectly seasoned merits. Fries and onion rings are on the money as well... and the staff couldn't be nicer. Went 30 minutes out of our way, and knowing what I know now, I would have gone an hour.

Ken has done a great job with this place. Adding the dining area was genius. The Wisconsin Cheese should come with a warning label, Absolute Sharp to perfection . Top it off with an order of wedges and you are good to go!

love their steamed cheeseburgers definitely more of a fan with their portion sizes compared to teds. anytime i'm around i try to swing by. staff are always friendly. lots of local foxon park soda options too Réservez une table maintenant

Very disappointed,the size of the burger was 1/2 the size of the bun. Tasted OK but serving a big bun loaded with melted cheese and a small portion of meat was very disappointing. I will not be back.

Burger was delicious, cheese was a bit too sharp but was still great. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy. Service was super quick. I'd go again

Friendly staff and atmosphere, who knew a football burger joint would be a sanctuary for me! I am still thinking about the cheesy fries...many thanks

Food was very good, fresh, great taste, hot and fast service. We had cheeseburgers, fries and sodas. Been many times before and will be back again Réservez une table maintenant

It's a steamed cheese. Once you've had one you've had them all. Food is fine but damn have they gotten expensive.
