Kabuki Japanese Old Pasadena

As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I found that the staff at this restaurant lacked knowledge on the subject. Although they do offer a gluten-free menu, the options were very limited. My husband and mother enjoyed their meals to some extent. My husband ordered sushi, while I opted for chicken and brown rice. Unfortunately, the chicken was inedible and I only managed to take a few bites. The rice was also clumpy, rather than sticky. When the server cleared my almost untouched plate, she didn't inquire about my satisfaction. Overall, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant.

We decided to leave after waiting for 20 minutes without any service. The waiter reassured us that he would be right with us after 5 minutes, but then 15 minutes later he informed us that he had to attend to something else before taking our drink order. Sadly, he never returned and we ultimately left. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, we were seated in the back and had a terrible experience. We have no intention of returning in the future.

Food quality reasonable. It's not a high-end sushi. No cream cheese rolls or imitation crab in Japan delivery mixed washout dishes ...nope. Forget to order Entrees... even with Tech... What happened? Dinner started to fry well. Unfortunately, we had high expectations. Just being real. I wish I had 5 stars. Not happening.

Back for family lovers fresh Chirashi Sushi, rainbow roll and spicy seafood udon. The Albacore roll and the Museo Mushroom soup were both satisfied. The banana tempura and green tea mochi were not too sweet. I appreciate the efficient service.

Got the salmon asparagus garlic crunch, Alaskan roll, and spicy tuna crunch roll. All very filling and tasty. We also got the chicken wing karaage which was very crispy. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat or casual date!

Kabuki has great food and excellent service. I know what to expect every time, their quality is very consistent. There are also many seats inside and outside, and the food does not take an hour to get to your table.

A little expensive, but worth it. Caroline was a great waitress with a good sense of humor. The rice bowl is there, no lie, the BEST rice bowl I've ever had. Sushi was very full and hit the square.

Not very authentic. The rainbow roll didn?t seem all that fresh. The sashimi was mushy. The teriyaki beef was supposed to be cooked medium well, but it was burnt. Overall, the food was mediocre.

Food and Service was good. Everything tasted Fresh. I've been to the Cerritos and Huntington Beach locations and this has been my Favorite!
