Ordered takeout from this spot. Once you walk in you can see the people cooking your food. I saw the skewers on the grill being made for the customers. So this location is in the part of Westbury where in the most part you have to park on the street which may have parking meter or there is a parking lot behind which depending the time you might have to pay. Now let's get into the food. I ended up ordering 4 Veggie Sambosas Chicken Kabab with Brown Rice. The Veggies Sambosas were fluffy and were complimented well with the Chatni it comes with. Just woken! After reading postive reviews online. I called and put a call warrant. The guy over the phone was very nice. He took my order and told me it will be ready in 20 minutes. This restaurant on Post Ave, and had no difficulty finding the parking lot. I went in and was greeted by Mr Omar, I told him and he gave my decision. Mr. Omar is very nice and humble personality, he gave me complementary sweet dish ' Firni. Food was very tasty, I ordered chicken breast kababab, chicken Jhooja kababab and chicken kofta kababab. Everything comes with salad, brown rice and pitabrot. All dishes were well balanced spices and mouthwater. definitely recommend this restaurant, will soon return
The food is consistently delicious every time, and the portions are generous. My absolute favorite is the barg. I've been visiting this restaurant since it opened in Westbury and have also been to the Flushing location for over a decade. Unlike many competitors, the quality has never dipped. My family frequently chooses this place for small celebrations. I've even introduced coworkers who had never tried Afghan cuisine before, and they've become hooked. The owner has been incredibly attentive to my family and friends over the years.
The food is delicious and consistent every single time. Portions are large as well. The barg is my absolute favorite. I?ve been going to this establishment since it opened up in Westbury, and have frequented the Flushing location for over a decade. The quality hasn?t diminished like the rest of the competition. My family always caters from here for small occasions. I?ve even introduced co workers who?ve never eaten Afghan food and are obsessed with it now. Me and my family had a great time here. They don?t serve food here and you have to place the order upfront and then they give it to you in to go containers but you?re more than welcome to dine in. The food was fantastic, as great as afghan food can be. This is my first time at this location and anytime I am back in town I will definitely be back here. Appreciate the great food and hospitality.
Not sure the place of origin this food is from but it is so good! The brown rice and chicken is always grilled to perfection and flavored perfectly ! Service is great as well ! Take out restaurant but have tables if you want to eat on site. Food is amazing. I had the chicken kabab which is very authentic and among the best I had. The brown rice was delicious. If you are looking for a good Middle Eastern Kebab Restaurant, this is it! Every penny of your money will be worth it. Amazing customer service, delicious food, well decorated and clean restaurant?..now thats the full package and very hard to find.
