I have ordered curried chicken roti from this restaurant twice now, and both times I have been let down. The portion size was small, with only 4 small pieces of chicken in a bowl that seemed to be sitting in oily, dirty water. The curry flavor was barely there, making the chicken taste bland. I also ordered Dahl puri to go with it, but was disappointed to find that the roti was dry and there was only a small amount of split pea filling. I ate it because I had already paid for it and was hungry, but I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant, but I found the BBQ chicken to be too burnt and bitter. I had to remove the entire skin in order to enjoy it. Additionally, there could have been more BBQ sauce and less of the plain black crust. The fried rice was delicious, the roti was excellent, and the dhal had a nice flavor. Overall, I would recommend eating here, but I suggest avoiding the BBQ chicken.
Came home from work tired, didn't feel like making my homemade roti (I usually do). Stopped in here ordered 3 oil roti...... roti was dry literally no oil hard. Waste of time and money. Never again... waste of time and money... NO authentic Guyanese person would enjoy anything these people make. Tasteless, no seasonings simply trash. I'll stick to cooking at home
The food is consistently delicious at this restaurant. Our server, Seeta, was outstanding during our visit. She provided exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Seeta was friendly, polite, and accommodating throughout our meal. The top picks at this restaurant are the roti, doubles, shrimp fried rice, and duck fried rice. Special mention goes to the lamb fried rice and bangamary fish. One area for improvement is that the chicken could benefit from a longer marination time.
My second time ordering the poulorie, doubles and now boneless curry chicken is on point. Next up black pudding.
Doubles aren't made fresh, the puri is hard so is the chana. Not the place for good doubles.
This restaurant should improve their food packaging for better security. Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant has a small walk-in area but the staff are really nice.
