Kailoki’s Restaurant Southernmost Bar In The U.s

I ordered an appetizer off the menu, when I initially tried it I thought it was bland and not tasty at all. Not to mention adding anything to it would cost close to $5. When I told my waiter I would like it taken off politely, he proceeded to raise his voice in annoyance asking me questions as if I was dumb. As if why I am not enjoying the food is me taking a personal jab at his performance as a waiter, when in reality it doesn't matter how he feels it's how I feel! Jeez, people get a grip. I saw a review on here that someone said the ambiance was off, yea they were right. Avoid this dive.

This was the only place open to eat so we gave it a try and are glad we did. So friendly and had fun local vibe atmosphere. The food was not fancy but was really delicious. My children can be very particular eaters and they all liked their food. I had the grilled fish which seemed more fried, but it was so good, meaty with no fishy taste. Kids loved the lava cake! We had a lovely lunch here of fish tacos while riding a Harley around the island. Our waitress was friendly and told us about the area. Great tacos.
