It appears that this restaurant was experiencing an off day during our visit. We faced a few challenges with our meal. There was a notable delay in receiving our beers, my wife's salmon was undercooked (almost raw), and our sushi arrived after our main courses, necessitating an inquiry on our part. That said, the food was acceptable for what you would expect on Main Street. I wouldn’t suggest making a special trip across town to eat here, but if you happen to be in the area, it could be worth a stop—just be prepared for some potential hiccups! Additionally, parking is limited; if you do need to pay, it’s $17 for two hours, which we found out around 5:30 PM.
Hey there! Let me tell you about my experience. The highlight of my visit, besides the lovely server, was definitely the fantastic Japanese amber ale you see in the picture. However, the sushi was just average. For those seeking a 4-star rating or higher for sushi, you really need to step up your game. Unfortunately, Kaito Sushi didn't meet that standard. No worries, though—there are plenty of other sushi places out there. On to the next one!
I'm not quite sure why this place has such glowing reviews. While the staff was warm and friendly, the food left much to be desired. We visited for a special occasion, hoping to enjoy some delicious sushi, but instead received fish and rolls drenched in heavy, overpowering sauces—even the sashimi. It was definitely off-putting. I hope this was just a bad day for them, but I don't think it's worth spending money to try again.
My husband and I decided to check out this restaurant, especially since many places on Main Street are quite good. Unfortunately, this one did not meet our expectations! The sushi rolls were small and lacked freshness. I really dislike spending a lot of money on a meal that isn't worth it. To make matters worse, the service was poor!

Everyone in my party that got sushi really enjoyed it. Which I get is probably what most people go there for. However, I got the teriyaki chicken and it was not edible. The teriyaki sauce was the worst thing I've ever tasted. My stomach was upset I had to go down the street and get a slice of pizza for dinner afterwards.
This little sushi restaurant is fantastic! The staff is incredible, and the sushi is wonderfully fresh! Plus, they offer outdoor seating, which allowed us to bring our dog along. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for delicious food and excellent service!
Excellent service, tasty food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It felt just like dining at a friend's place. I particularly enjoyed the Jude roll and the jalapeño roll. My family and I will certainly return!
