Kaito Sushi Seal Beach

Must of been an off day for this establishment today. Too many hiccups toward our dinner. Delay in service for beer to arrive, wife's Salmon under cooked (Raw), and Sushi order came after entree had to ask if order will arrive. Other then that it"s alright for Main Street food! You don't go there as a regular or you might but the parking is limited and if you pay it cost 17 for 2 hours this was about 530pn. Not a place to go across town but in the neighborhood try it but be warned ? ?

Uncertain why this place has great reviews. The staff was nice and friendly, but the food wasn't great. We came here for a special occasion, hoping to enjoy some great sushi and got fish and rolls with heavy and overpowered sauces (also the Sashimi? . I just wanted to say. Hopefully we just caught them on a free day, but it's not worth wasting the money for another attempt.

Made a reservation here, but still had to wait about 20-30 minutes for the table. They seemed busy. When we sat down we ordered some rolls and appetizers. They were out of oysters so we got a kama instead. The environment was a bit dimmed and louder other customers. Food was okay. We got the seal beach roll and Main Street roll. I guess the fried part was crab.

Very friendly staff. Owner came around to all the tables to talk to everyone and ask about their experience. Will be back when I'm in the area.
