When my wife said hey let's try this new resturant in the West Island called Kale Bacon . My first though what was I going to eat? Well we got there on a Saturday night at 7:30 and the place was busy and the hostess asked if we had a reservation . Which we said no . They did have one table open. The menu has a good variety of tapas style dishes but limited on a meal for one person . We ordered Tuna poke , garlic fried rice, small order of bacon fries, cauliflower wings for 2 people . The food came hot . The tuna poke was fresh and tasty but no rice . The garlic fried was crispy and flavourful . The bacon fries were crispy and tasteful. The pork bacon was crispy thick chunks . We loved our first visit to this great west island restaurant (opened since the spring of 2019) so that vegans and non-vegans could dine together. The innovative and delicious small plates are ideal for sharing. We opted for the vegan menu: grilled asparagus topped with nuts and a spicy sauce; roasted cauliflower tempeh coconut curry with house-baked flatbread; crispy fries; and peanut butter chocolate cake. The dining room is lively and has contemporary decor with both counter and table seating. The service is superb and authentic. There is a full bar and excellent cocktails. There is even a heated electronic toilet in the bathroom (with remote control).
This restaurant has a terrific vibe going on. The servers are very attentive and friendly. The food selection is, dare I say, trendsetting. Nice selection of cocktails and wine. Definitely coming back.
it is a beautiful place and eating is excellent. what was most important to me was the level of customer service. we were made to feel important. ricky was wonderful, the best part of our experience.

Restaurant was freezing and very disappointing that they ran out of two of the dishes I wanted to try. we had a 7 pm reservation so can't really understand them running out of food.
amazing service and eating! this was our first visit and it will not be our last! a refreshing supplement to the restaurant scene west island!
