In Preston Street, there is a Thai restaurant called Kanok Thai . Once we entered, we noticed a nauseating smell. A mix of foot stinks and humidity...but that wasn 't a problem. We asked the waitress for advice on some clarifications on the menu. She was flawless on the information given. Some were followed, others totally ignored. We ordered: 'Crispy noodle ' and 'Mushroom Sateh ' as starters, 'grill chicken ' and 'grill prawn ' as main course. The starters were good, but the main dish was so-so. A special mention for Anna who was very kind. Average food...unfortunately you can 't have everything in life Eh eh eh.
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The chicken satay did not seem to be cooked properly, as it was hot on the outside but cold in the middle and very chewy. The beef curry was also just okay, despite asking for it to be spicy. Instead, I was given a bowl of chilies, which made me question the freshness of the dishes. It seemed like they may have been reheated. I'm sorry, but I won't be returning.
We collected three dishes from here last night. The pad Thai and papaya salad were both nice. However,the pad spicy duck was awful! It was rendered inedible by far too much salt. It burned my mouth. We tried to call the restaurant and got the answerphone. We left our contact number but there was no callback! By the way, it took me about 50mins waiting for the food!
We had a takeaway from here at the beginning of the week loved it so much decided to eat in on our last night in Brighton we were not disappointed can highly recommend Thai green Chicken Curry the Yellow Curry Stir fry pork a very small restaurant which is quite intimate will return on next visit to Brighton a big thumbs up for this restaurant

from time to time I go there to lunch with my colleagues as his next to our office. personal super friendly. restaurant is always tidy and tidy and eating is amazing I was not really sharp on Thai food as the first time I tried it I went for the wrong dishes and had a bad experience. this place has changed my definition. I love it!
it was my first time to visit this sweet restaurant, and the experience could not be better. they can say that eating was absolutely delicious, only with the aspekt. the staff was super friendly and the price is quite reasonable! I am definitiw back!
One of the best Thai meals we have had in years! We live in london so we are usually spoiled for choice. The food here was incredibly fragrant and well presented. They also catered very well for our allergies. I would highly reccomend it.
I decided that I haven’t eaten in enough restaurants on Preston Street in recent years and went for Kanok Thai tonight. Never been in here before and it definitely gets a thumbs-up from me. Great food.

Came across this and we went in. Lovely food and service. Tempura prawn best I have ever had. Thai Shiraz was really good like a good Aussie Shiraz.
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Thank you, that was outstanding in quality and flavor. The best Thai food I've had in a long time.
