The food is really good and the people are nice. I ordered a combo and they were happy to substitute one thing for another when I asked. I love the rainbow roll however some places just put a crab stick in the middle however at Miyako, they put in a crab salad- which I prefer. I thought the food came out in a reasonable time however try apologized for it taking longer than normal and they gave me a bunch extra food. I can't imagine you will get extra food every time however it nice to see that they do care about there patrons and are willing to do things the right way. I highly recommend.
Just moved down to OC from West LA and were looking for a place to replace our previous fave go-to pick up sushi joint, California Roll Factory. Just ordered to go from Kappa Miyako for the first time; service was polite and efficient and the foodwas really good. The freshness and presentation of the food was honestly surprising from a little hole in the wall place likethis little gem. Looking forward to ordering more from these guys; my new local standard.
Neat little sushi place. Fish was very fresh, Sushi came high quality, and they even had a happy hour on Saturday. Cleanliness and service were also wonderful. The happy hour menu is not big, but good prices. The only thing I didn't like was the sauce had a bit of a smoky taste I didn't like, but this is a personal preference that doesn't affect quality in any way.
Absolutely fantastic experience! You have to try the cucumber lollipop, which isn’t on the menu. It’s the best cucumber roll I’ve ever had. The unagi sushi was delicious as well—the sauce is perfectly balanced and not overly sweet, unlike many other Japanese places. Plus, the sushi chef is a woman! How wonderful is that?

From the moment you arrive in that place team give you a comfortable feeling. Very congenial stuff, it is a lovely place to hang out with buddies or with your date. heavenly meals, professional chef de cuisine, competitive cost and courteous service. Warmly recommended.
The sushi was amazing and brought me so much joy! The fish was fresh, flavorful, and sliced generously. The Bento Box dinners provided a fantastic variety of dishes and were quite satisfying. We’ll definitely be returning soon!
