My first time eating from here. I did take out: ordered through the online menu and had it delivered to my car. The app prompts for a tip. I did double crab in the Kahuna bowl. I liked that while I was driving to the location I received a text that my order was ready, ten minutes before it was supposed to be. Could have been because they close at 2 pm and reopen at 5 pm. The quality of the food was excellent. However, the restaurant was understaffed, and even on a Thursday night, it took a long time for our meals to be served. The sushi was ready and left sitting for at least 10 minutes before it was finally brought to our table along with the Udon soup, which was too hot to eat immediately. The staff was very friendly and graciously apologized for the extended wait.
I may have reviewed years ago but just an update: the food is as good as ever and the service has improved as well. Most authentic Japanese food in the area, my family lived in Japan for years and we all enjoy coming here to eat and enjoy the ambiance. Definitely stop by if you enjoy Japanese cuisine and sushi. The sushi is always fresh and delicious no matter the time of day.
