How I've never been here in the 28 years I've lived in Pasadena, I'll never know... But now that I have I can tell I'll be a frequent visitor. First off the bathroom is adorable, do you see this sink?!! That's just the nastolgic designer in me. Of course the hot chocolate was adorable too. A full mug of whipped cream a warm little pot of chocolate to pour over. I devoured the cream of zucchini before I remembered to take a pic but it was delicious. Dad I shared the Reuben, SO tender, yummy sauerkraut, and the Cole slaw side dad didn't let me have any... Too good! I now understand why it's been here for more than 35 years... See you so soon.
I love this restaurant. It is a wonderful traditional American restaurant with a touch of Mexican, Italian and Middle Eastern dishes. The service is great (hostess, waitress and busboy). I also love the owner, Kathleen and her restaurant survived the pandemic. I can see that she is proud of her restaurant because of the little touches around the restaurant... love the flowers. I intend to continue the patronage of their restaurant and all the companies owned.
Food and service were really good. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the chicken was cooked for perfection. It was very delicious and the very thin and crispy frits were a beautiful supplement. The service was really friendly and the right amount of attention. As they recover from a fire, I will stop coming to the decor and the ambience because they still sit together. But overall I enjoyed my lunch.
Another lovely visit here to one of the long time traditions in Pasadena. Always great food and service! Hard not to get the Tuna Marco on a croissant, but I got another great instead, the Quiche Lorraine, which was actually a bit different than the last time and still great. The pumpkin walnut bread is also wonderful; on par with the best zucchini bread in town I might have mentioned a review elsewhere.

I've been here for years. Nice, secret feeling with the owner coming to your table to make sure everything is okay. Today it is spinach fatuccini with chicken that is creamy good and tasty. I always had the best meals here. Good and inexpensive offer for the quality of food.
Great pumpkin pie. We come every year for my mother's birthday. I have been coming for over 30 years and have never been disappointed. First it was with my grandma and now my mother.
Best Cobb in Pasadena! Great service and the owner, Kathleen, is very accommodating and super nice! The portions are huge and the food quality is excellent!
Exceptional salmon Benedict. The staff are fantastic. Super accommodating! We will certainly make this a regular in our brunch routine.
