We visited tonight for my husband's birthday. We last visited Nepal in 2017 and miss Nepali food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is located in a converted Queenslander and is very simply dressed. We sat in one of the small rooms with standard table seating. We enjoyed momos and a mixed platter for entrees, Himalayan bread and lamb and chicken mains. Servings were generous and full of flavour. It cost $62 for our food, but we did not leave hungry. I and my partner went to this place hoping for the authentic newari food but what we got there was completely opposite. The waitress, first of all, was ignorant who doesnt know what she is doing. Secondly, the food was not fresh but frozen and very pricey for its low quality. People who know even a little bit about authentic and fresh nepali foods will never visit this place. Guys if you don't wanna waste ur money on Fake nepali restaurants, plz don't go here.being a foodie, I was extremely dissapointed with this place.
The food is the best, i go a lot and eat here when I cant be bothered to cook at home. The staff are friendly and it has a great vibe and excellent value for money. I tell everyone I know to go and eat here, Also being in Paddington in Brisbane its a nice place to go for a walk before or afterwards. No frills but really a lovely place.
