was today for the first time at katzenbacher hof (in the afternoon). it wasn't much. some families with their children have been walking on the great playground. the areal is really beautiful, eating with self-service rustic and simple, which is perfect for me. I have ordered white sausages with brezel (5,40 €) and they were jerking on the self-service counter, however they were completely burst --> from my own you must not offer them to the customer. the white sausages were in themselves good quality, but by the bursting skin no longer tasty. It's a shame! It's more like getting here to enjoy the great location and environment, but a certain standard of eating would be nice.
a beautiful ambiente in the middle of the forest. with the brick building, the grazing and the great playground. much shadow, tw under the big tree or sunshades. you can easily control this beer garden: parking sufficient, centrally located for cyclists and walkers. that simply eat, the usual, but always of good quality. also suitable for the beer: stuttgarter hofbräu, local.In total absolutely worthwhile.

I'm sorry. eating is without any esprit. it's not bad, but it's not good either. the beer comes from the bottle. we are going back because the first visit suddenly started to rain and our son, like to go back to the playground. the stroke too is also very clear: 3 rabbits.
Selection of meals is very small and traditional. I had a chop of meat with potatosalat and a slide of bread. The surrounding is quiet a nice place in the nature. Espacially for families, because of the playground and die animals (long haired cows). It is a mix of beergarden and a restaurant destination with self service. Even more when the weather is fine.

depends on what one expects from a restaurant: as a beer garden great, go to eat....naja! the choice of dishes is quite clear....normal house cooking. but after a walk it is all. You can expect something special from eating.But you can really go there if you want to eat a little bit of cichlid and a little bite.
the location is of course excellent, and the achievability in front of the dead stuttgarts located best, but what is offered here on food is rather brooding and the prices are demanding. if I have to pay 3,70 euro for a white beer without an operation (must be standing at the counter), then it's three times.

this is a good starting point or endpoint sporting, walking or family excursions. Eating is not much, but it is enough. well to sit and the kids can play.

first a walk around the katzenbacher lake and then a longer break in the katzenbacher hof is a perfect Sunday afternoon:-)
this location is just something to drink....that eating is very spicy offered.A red sausage is basically a bockwurst.
