If you are looking for a truly magnificent greek restaurant that is it. Location: A bit outside but not too far away from the city center. Parking spaces are rare in the area and since the restaurant is almost always full (reservations highly recommended) you...may need to search a little bit. But due to the free bottle of Ouzo per table, a taxi drive might be in order. Staff: Friendly, helpful and trained in a very good way. One can feel it is family driven and even small hiccups will in almost all cases be righted by the staff under the good supervision. One can feel that they like there job. Low turnover. Food: Absolutely great. You will not get the heaps of meat you get in a lot of greek...
On a Sunday night during a recent business trip, I walked into KDW. No reservation, no problem. Very kind staff set me up quickly and offered an Ouzo on the house to whet my appetite. I ordered a rotisserie pork loin which came with an...appetiser board of greek treats such as grilled veggies and cheese, roasted tomato, yogurt and salad all very nice. The meat arrived hot and perfectly cooked the right level of pinkness to be safe but juicy and tender. Packed with flavor, it paired well with their roasted potato gratin. Honestly, it was a lot of food. Generous portions means you can skip the desert and go for a nice digestif. I would happily recommend to others.
Lovely Reader, an absolutely reliable, sovereign, friendly pointed place. eating is convincing. the appetizer at the front very lush. and really delicious. there were 8 people in the table without exception good laune and a satisfied feeling of essem. no one had to complain. besides eating too much. the service is superb professional attentive and very friendly. barely waiting time. are sufficient. it's not being saved. everything tastes excellent. you can say with goodness, here is everything to be recommended. was eaten steak, chicken, garnel and many different supplements. very good, dear kdw team! respect for the great performance.
We dropped in at around 9pm without a reservation and were greeted warmly and given a seat. This was only my second visit to KDW and I was pleasantly surprised with their attentiveness and yet not too intrusive service. Soon after making the orders, the...appetizers (on the house) came, they came plenty (tzatziki with bread, salad, and some filled pastry). The presentation of the main course was exceptional and tasted really good. Overall the service was great and we were pleasantly surprised by the helpings and the exceptional attention and attention to detail the staff at KDW showed. We will be returning. Easy to see why this restaurant is always in the top three of Bielefeld reviews. We booked a table for New Year’s Eve and needless to say it was a full house, we still had first class service from the friendly and efficient staff. They...had even gone to the trouble of writing out an English version of the set menu just for us. The food was great and the wine very drinkable! We had a most enjoyable evening and only wished we could have stayed longer, we look forward to returning.
as a regular visitor, although for the first time since the beginning of the covid, this visit was very disappointing. I found that the meal was below its normal standards. I had the lamb cuts that were 60% fat, although they were well cooked majority was not. because of the fat. in any case not the kind of quality that I have received in the past.
