Kegel's is a beloved spot in West Allis known for their famous fish fry, and I recently had the pleasure of dining in one of their cozy yurts. It was truly one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I surprised some friends with a reservation for a yurt that comfortably fit all 12 of us. The yurts were impressive and cozy, with our server Hunter being incredibly friendly and efficient. I kicked off the evening by ordering an old fashioned to celebrate being back in Wisconsin, and it did not disappoint. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Kegel's Inn is a restaurant you can't miss. We love their Fish Fry Fridays and the variety of fish options on the menu, especially when paired with potato pancakes. The German dishes are also delicious. The selection of tap beers, the decor, and the atmosphere all remind me of my experiences in Germany. The outdoor seating area is perfect for relaxing during the warmer months, especially when they have live music. Whether you're going to American Family Field or looking for a spot outside of downtown, Kegel's Inn is definitely worth a visit.

Kegels is our favorite spot to take friends and family visiting from out of town who want to experience a taste of classic Milwaukee. The food and service are consistently exceptional, and our dining experience is always top-notch. I have been coming here since I was a child, and I can assure you that you will never leave disappointed.

The fish fry was excellent. We arrived before 4:00pm in order to receive the $2.00 discount, but ended up paying an extra $2.00 for the potato pancakes, so we didn't save any money. The total cost for a glass of wine and a soda was $18.00. Réservez une table maintenant

Wisconsin fish fry at its finest! Spent a great night here while home for Thanksgiving break. We all had fish fry including the cod, walleye and blue gill, all excellent and some of the best potato pancakes ever. Great beers and wine too!

Atmosphere is so cozy and fun, lots of details all over. Food was delicious. We got the Oktoberfest brat baked cod, with appetizers cheese curds and pretzel. Best fried cheese curds I've ever had.
