Kennedy's Bar Restaurant

Another little visit to my favourite bar eatery in York : as usual it did not disappoint …except my favourite waiter Tommy was no where to be seen. I had the Scampi chips which was lovely, it was accompanied by a gorgeous glass of Picpol which the wonderful Xenia helped me pick out by letting me taste a few. Very nice touch. I enjoyed the music atmosphere as I always do. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting so close to the minister where i went later to listen to a choir. Hope to visit again soon bring back Tommy !

I held a big birthday party event in March 24, and cannot praise enough the Kennedys team for their organisation, pre-party in suggesting ideas through to the perfect organisation and planning on the night. The bar team were exceptional, the canopes provided were fabulous and many of my guests fed back on how good the food was. The atmosphere was fantastic and Kennedys team know how to create a party!

Visited York for a friends 30th and had a fantastic time at this venue. The door staff were so professional, polite and very accommodating. What I was especially pleased with, was I wasn’t discriminated against for wearing certain branded clothing. Shout out to Liam (door-staff) for showing me his duck!

Great evening of entertainment. We had our works party here, the food was plenty and delicious, the bar staff did a great job, nothing was too much trouble, very friendly and accommodating. Very reasonable price for the hot buffet meals. Upstairs private room was a... Réservez une table maintenant

Came to Kennedys today for a Sunday roast and I have to say, it was by far the best roast I’ve ever had! The pork belly was unreal! The gravy was beautiful and the Yorkshire pudding bigger than my head! A pint of Jubel in an ice cold stein to wash it down with!

Extremely poor service, waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. Plenty of staff but seem to have the knack of avoiding eye contact. Burger did not look anything like the photos and one 1 strip of bacon. Minimal sauce. Only good thing was...

Stumbled upon this place on our day trip to York. Couldn't have been happier! I had a pint (or 3) of Jubel peach lager in an ice cold stein! and had a Korean chicken flatbread, which could have been the nicest thing i've ever...

Lovely burgers, had the veggie option very tasty, husband had the Kennedy special which was very good too and 2 4 1 on Wednesdays (which was a surprise) staff friendly and welcoming. Live music good too. Would recommend. Réservez une table maintenant

Great place in the middle of York. It's on several levels and can be a bit noisy but it all adds to the atmosphere. Had drinks, food and more drinks. Staff are friendly.
