My Lunch Group (usually 8 to 10 people lunches every alternate Friday at different venues around Canberra; because we enjoy it so much, we lunch at Kevin's Place maybe once every two months and we all agree that it is one of the finest Asian...restaurants available in Canberra for an informal meal. Kevin is a great Chef and Yen (his wife? is a very pleasant, happy lady serving our meals and ensuring our drinking water (cold is replenished regularly. The menu prices are very acceptable and they don't skimp on the serving sizes.We commend Kevin's as a great place to enjoy a meal alone, or with a group.
placed a pick-up order in the business and told 20 minutes. 12 minutes later. the person who constantly looked down and did not make the eye contact with the customers. in a phase he came from behind at the counter and checked the docks of a person sitting on a table. at 21 minutes I asked about my command. he commanded me to sit behind the counter all the time. I said I should have been there for 10 minutes. he claimed to have called my number twice during this time. he had not challenged any pay during this time. cold eating, badly organized, will never return.
We have been patrons for more than five years, mainly ordering takeaway and have never been disappointed. Family favourites include: Peking Dry Chilli Beef Salt Pepper Prawns Laksa Combination Chow Mein Mandarin Duck Won Ton Soup It is BYO (no corkage), children friendly, good...value and clean.

Five of us came here on New Year's Eve. The restaurant was clean, bright, and airy. They had all the standard favorites available. The service was quick and the portions were generous. The mixed appetizer was particularly generous. It's always a bonus that it's BYO.
The decor may be simple, but the real standout at this restaurant is the food. Every dish we tried was flawless. Our party of 10 had no complaints. We opted for the middle-priced banquet and were very glad we did. It was a perfect meal.
Happy to accommodate off menu dishes, quick service. However, prawn crackers weren't quite so fresh and crispy, and the sauce in the green curry chicken dish was pretty thin. Overall it was tasty and quite acceptable.
the dry chili rind had a burned aftertaste and the birds nest was in edible gents toilets was absolutely eclig brown lines in the bowl, floor was filthy,Nothing has ever been cleaned, I will not be back.

Have now been a couple of times and eaten in. The other day ordered takeaway, just as good. Prices are quite reasonable and service good. Recommend for large size and tasty meals.
The food had too much salt! The flavors were not bad, but I believe the salt was overdone.
