My last review was of how poor the quality of food was at KFC Brockville. Along with the review here at TripAdvisor I had also complained to KFC directly via their website. My complaint to KFC did not go unnoticed, soon after the Manger here in Brockville called to apologize for my experience and offered a complimentary bucket of chicken. The manager explained the cook at that time has been replaced. So how was the new experience? I will say the chicken was much better as compared to previous, but still not what I had hoped. Hadn't gotten KFC in a LONG time so grabbed it for a quick dinner. Went inside to get it to avoid drive thru mix ups. The inside is very rundown and tired looking. The menu board is congested and hard to read. We ordered a meal for for people and it was around $40....pricey for the amount of food. In our bucket of 14 pieces we had about 4 legs, 2 or 3 wings and only 2 pieces of white meat. With two of us in the family preferring only white, that was disappointing. I know that location has a HUGE issue with their white meat availability and, when ordering a 2 or 3 piece meal, they will not allow you to pay extra to have it added as you can at other places. I have been living here in Brockville for almost 15 years and KFC has been here I do believe around 10. From when I was a kid I remember my family eating KFC and it was an enjoyable experience, a fond memory. Well that fond memory has been thrown in the garbage here in Brockville and I literally mean "thrown that chicken in the garbage". In total I would say I have purchased KFC here in Brockville about 10 times and each of those times at the end of eating I always say "never again will I buy KFC". Although conveniently located off the highway, this restaurant is one to steer clear of! The chicken was undercooked, the gravy tasted like paste, the tables were dirty despite the lack of customers, and there was ketchup and food scattered on the floor. The restroom was also in poor condition. I decided to leave and use a restroom at a service station instead, which was much cleaner. When we brought the issue of the undercooked chicken to the staff's attention, we were informed that most people still eat it and that they could not provide a refund. My colleage and I attended this location and ordered four three piece meals as well as a crispy chicken sandwich. Our meals were prepared by an older woman. To our surprise when we checked our meals there were hardly any fries. We re- entered and confirmed with other customers who advised they had received many more fries. I showed the young girl at the counter and she immediately got us a small box of fresh fries. To no surprise the woman who prepared our food was no where to be found. I would not recommend this location, nor will we be returning!Check out the photos!
Spent over $30 for a squished bucket of 8 pcs (small!) Chicken, chicken bits (no dips?) Soggy and compressed fries and an unfriendly staff member. Not a word of thanks when paying or waiting or anytime. Chicken is getting smaller everytime I give it another try. Fries were horrible. Mac salad is horrible. Reminder why I stop going everytime I've gone. Bring back the good Ole KFC days.
Huge disappointment. Haven't been to KFC in years, but had a craving and some fond memories. Ordered the "Big Boss". Found it to be dry and tough, with none of the juicy deliciousness I was yearning for. A meager amount of dry fries did nothing to improve my experience. On the plus side, the packaging looked suitably festive. It will be a very long time before I return.
Not much good to say. Run by very young people. I have no idea how it can be cold when you are standing right there and it is fast food. Not clean, I have no idea the last time someone cleaned our table. Food was bad, I did not finish, place was a mess and cold. The only doog thing was the root beer, but I guess that is what you get for going cheap.
