Khob Khun Thai Food

This is a small mom and pop store in Coquitlam that we went to after our hike at Bunzten lake. We didn’t know what to expect as the place didn’t have too many reviews but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We were a large group and got a variety of items like the vegan and chicken khao suey, panang curry, green thai curry, papaya salad. Everything was very delicious, very well plated and very good quantities too. The server seemed like the owner of the store who was also helping prepare the meals. From the outside the expectations are low, but as you enter the restaurant, you can tell it’s tradition food! The aroma and the flavors are amazing! I have been going to many other very well known places locally but the quality here is a cut above.Anything you have here is going to be great! It’s a must stop for any Thai cuisine lover.

Ordered for the first time tonight and had THE BEST Thai I’ve had in a long time! I got the green curry, garlic pork and pad Thai with coconut rice. It was delicious and the staff/owners were so polite and kind! I cannot wait to try more!!Food: 5/5

The atmosphere there is quite quaint, and I appreciate that they put more emphasis on the quality of food then decor. I found the food to be very comforting, not overly salty, and truly authentic. We'll be back.Food: 5/5

Hidden gems Family own restaurant. It's yummy and taste exactly in Thai. Love their curry. BBQ chicken and fries noodles. Worth the try.
