I visited this place on a whim, craving something sweet, and I was not disappointed! I was a bit taken aback by the prices, but after tasting the chocolate and caramel-covered apple, I will definitely return. The chocolate is of excellent quality. The ice cream was enjoyable—not the best I've ever had, but still good. The real standout here is the chocolate! The staff is friendly and efficient, and the location is clean.
To be honest, Carvel's hard ice cream is far creamier! If you want to feel like you've been overcharged, this is the place to go. Paying $8.99 for this is outrageous! Who do they think they are? I should have just said "never mind" and walked out, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it, so I’m sharing my experience here. It reminds me of the prices I encountered at tourist traps in Venice, FL!
The prices are too high for what's offered. The taste was just average, and the service was disorganized. My mother ordered a vanilla shake, and I opted for a cone with two scoops of ice cream. The total came to $28, which makes me think it would be better to just go for Haagen-Dazs instead.
This is ONLY for the ice cream...one of the freezers wasn't working so half of the flavors weren't available. Got 3 small cups....1 scoop each...$28?!?!? Highway robbery! Rather drive a little longer and go to coyles! Kilwins has GREAT chocolate but never again for ice cream. Réservez une table maintenant
This place is outrageous. I ordered a single scoop of vanilla ice cream and was charged $9.00. That's just ridiculous. I won't be returning.
