Although we had reservations at 8:30 p.m., our chef did not arrive to prep until after 9:30 p.m. A hibachi table seated well after us had their chef and meal before us and we were given the excuse that they had gotten their order in prior to us. Not our fault as our party of 5 had to wait longer for management to seat an additional 2 people at our station. Had it not been for our server who was kind and patient with us, and a chef that did a great job of serving us a delicious meal, I would have given this restaurant a 1. Food was very tasty! Our server was very attentive , our chef Brent entertaining and was mindful of food allergies. However, manager tried to make amends on entree that was not to our satisfaction overcooked calamari prepared by the kitchen not Chef Brent) and failed to provide reasonable compensation. Overall, we would come back and not order the calamari!
I like Kimono; this wasn't my first visit. The food was great, as usual, and the waitress was efficient and accommodating. We only had to wait about 5 minutes past our reservation time, because it seemed they were a bit short-staffed that day. But the front desk and the very nice bar tender did advise that was the issue. All in all, not a big problem.
They sort of play like Benihana, but I meant to people that can cook food well nowadays they did an excellent job.

Great food and the show was great! We loved the Tepanyaki experience and servers were very nice
Service was OK. Server only checked in a minimum. Our order took a while to get to our table.
Kimono is my absolute favorite place. The customer service is always great
