"We are a team of young American culinary professionals from Texas with a passion for food, culture and excitement; Our love for food has led us to develop a greater understanding of food while we are in the history, culture, traditions and techniques behind every dish. Our company is called Culinary Crossings and we travel the world to discover and taste new flavors while documented, and other cultures experience their cuisine. During the summer we had the opportunity to interview restaurant owners in 28 different countries and over 100 restaurants throughout Europe over a period of 3 months, cooking with chefs and tasting traditional yet popular dishes in the region. Our first station in Austria was in a small town outside Vienna called Sankt Lorenzen In the Murztal near a bakery specializing in 15 different types of ingrown red and a wide range of delicious coffee and other delicacies. The joyful owner greeted us with a round of the best frozen coffees and immediately brought a record of the most tasty Ingwerbread cookies from sweet to even a bit sharp. An important component that is added to these unique cookies that separates them from others is the concept of using honey instead of sugar. This gives cookies not only another taste, but is better for you in the long term, so you need to worry about as much as you want and not about sugar overload. We definitely had our fair share of honey infused incompatible cookies to keep us for a while until we return. Great cookies, atmosphere and service!"

We are a team of young American culinary professionals from Texas with a passion for food, culture, and excitement; our love for food has driven us to work towards developing a greater understanding of food while looking into the history, culture, traditions, and techniques behind each dish. Our company is called Culinary Crossings and we are traveling the world, to discover and try new flavors, while documenting, and experiencing other cultures & their cuisines. During the summer we had the opportunity of traveling to 28 different countries and over 100 restaurants throughout Europe over a span of 3 months interviewing restaurant owners, cooking with chefs and tasting traditional yet popular dishes native to the region. Our first stop in Austria was in a small town outside of Vienna called Sankt Lorenzen Im Murztal at a bakery that specializes in 15 different types of gingerbread and a wide range of delicious coffee and other delicacies. The joyful owner welcomed us with a round of the best frozen coffees and immediately brought out a platter of the yummiest gingerbread cookies ranging from sweet to even a bit spicy. A key component that is added in these unique cookies that separates them from others is the concept of using honey rather than sugar. This not only gives the cookies a different taste but is better for you in the long run allowing you to gobble up as much as you want and not have to worry about a sugar overload. We definitely had our fair share of honey infused gingerbread cookies to last us a while until we return again. Great cookies, atmosphere and service!
