TLDR; the PT aides are all really nice and knowledgeable and if you 're lucky enough to have Sterling work with you, you 're in good hands. Karen, the only PT in the office does very minimal in regards to assessment, and seems preoccupied. If you want a more involved physical therapist, look elsewhere. You never offered online services to my wife; instead, you instructed her to return only after she tested negative, which would take three months. It seems your priority was enforcing your policy rather than caring for her. You are discriminating against individuals who have recovered from COVID and are now healthy, in accordance with CDC guidelines and their healthcare providers. Who did you consult? In 2012 I fractured one of my vertebrates and once I felt good enough I made an appointment to go to Kinetz rehab. The staff was really friendly it felt like family.I worked hard and made an amazing recovery. I've been in there gym program for 8 years now and I love it. I can do work outs at my own pace and the pt's are there if I need help with any of the exercises. I love Shayna she has an amazing personality and always greets you with a smile. She really cares about the patience and gives 100% each and every day. Karen and Sterling are the best always wiling to listen and encouraging. you. You know they really care. The best part is seeing Fen he's the official dog greeter.
Ignorant and discriminatory once you got COVID. Despite getting clearance from San Mateo County Health and my primary care doctor after meeting the CDC guidelines of 14-day quarantine, this place will still require a negative COVID test, which you will not get for 3 months. I tried to educate them of CDC guidelines but this is a private practice and can make up whatever policy they want. They discriminate based on fear, ignorance, and simply out of not truly caring for their patients who were Covid positive.
This has got to be one of the best physical therapy teams in the SF Bay Area. Karen, Sterling (both super experienced) and Shayna (senior coach and office manager) are dedicated to their craft and truly care about their patients. They seek to understand your needs, set stretching but achievable goals, and give their patients the confidence and tools to continue their recovery at home whenever possible. I highly recommend them well worth the short and easy drive or BART/Caltrain rise down to San Bruno!
I began physical therapy here in mid-August after dislocating my knee at the end of June. I graduated last week, and I had a fantastic experience at Kinetx! Karen, Shay, and Sterling were all incredibly friendly and supportive, and I made great progress with their help. They were very flexible with my limited schedule, accommodating my early morning and late afternoon availability. I hope I won't need physical therapy again, but if I do, I know exactly where to go!

I'm so glad I discovered this place! The physical therapists here are truly the best. I'm also relieved that they check for proof of Covid vaccination and require a negative test if there has been recent exposure. Plus, who doesn't enjoy being in Fenway? Thank you!
I am doing my PT here after a knee replacement. Excellent care, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They take time to explain and they listen to me and adapt. Highly recommend.
