King Charles - Réservation de table

Talk about history! Building dates from 1577 and it's the place in 1651 where King Charles II escaped from Cromwell's armies after the Battle of Worcester. Now it's this beautiful, archetypal historical British pub open fires, low ceilings, heavy woods, real ale on tap.Menu is also typically British in content but not in presentation a fabulous deconstructed Ploughman's Lunch on board arrived at my table along with a half of ale. Perfect lunch!

The waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating. Although my friend and I only ordered sandwiches, they were delicious. I opted for a half pint of stout, while my friend couldn't decide and received a taste test from the waitress, ultimately choosing a full pint. The service was excellent and we will definitely be returning.

In more than 40 years of traveling in Britain the pies we had were definitely one of the best ever. Topped with most friendly service and bar keeper, this was an evening to remember and to talk about to friends. Even the building offered many most impressive, one of a kind secrets find out yourself! Highly to be recommended.

I tried a delicious steak and Stilton pie with cheese mash at this lovely restaurant. I don't usually like pies or mashed potatoes, but I was blown away by how amazing this dish was. The atmosphere in the pub was nice and the service was good. I will definitely be coming back. Réservez une table maintenant

Wonderful old wood paneling and steeped in history! If you like real ale, (and I counted at least six) and relaxed, comfortable surroundings, then don't let this place pass you by! They have speciality pies on offer also. Highly recommended!

This pub is fantastic, with a beautiful venue and an excellent location. The new owners are doing a great job. I had a delicious pint and there was food available every day. I will definitely be returning soon to try out the menu.

A wonderfully traditional pub with 17th century wood panelling and a wonky floor upstairs. This friendly pub has a good range of beers many of which are local. They also serve tasty pies.

Only stopped by for a couple of drinks but would definitely visit again would like to try the food. Beer was lovely the pub itself was beautiful with a log burner on the go x Réservez une table maintenant

a wonderful pub that if they are one above the level, they feel pretty level head. However, if they are not imbibed the floor levels they could leave.
