The food was exceptional! My husband ordered the beef chow fun, which was fantastic. My son has allergies and opted for steamed chicken, broccoli, and carrots, which he found delicious. I had vegetable fried rice and requested an egg be added, and they happily obliged. We dined in the cozy little restaurant with just a few tables, and the owner brought out some special dishes made for another table and kindly offered us some to try—we loved it! The atmosphere was very friendly, and it’s a family-owned establishment. We were in town for hockey, and we will definitely return the next time we're here! I was quite disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant. I ordered the Seafood Vegetable Soup, which was advertised to include shrimp, scallops, and crab meat. However, when I got home, I was greeted with just a bowl of vegetables floating in broth, containing only two shrimp—there was no crab meat or scallops at all. To top it off, the noodles were stale. This experience has made me decide not to return to this restaurant. It felt like a total waste of gas and money! I’m really shaking my head at this.
I recently ordered takeout for dinner, and I couldn't be more satisfied. The food received a perfect score of 5; every dish was delicious and expertly prepared. The service was also outstanding, earning another 5/5 – my order was completed quickly and accurately. As for the atmosphere, while I didn't dine in, the overall vibe of the restaurant is inviting and warm, so I rated it a solid 4. If you decide to order from here, I highly recommend trying the egg roll; it's a must-have!
Disappointing experience. I hadn't been in a while, but I always had high expectations based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, this last order did not meet those standards. The food arrived lukewarm, and the broccoli was undercooked. The egg roll was lacking in both substance and freshness. I really hope this isn't the new standard for the restaurant. Ordered takeout for the first time. Egg rolls were good but that's about it. Chicken and brown sauce didn't really have much flavor. Nor did the low mein or sweet and sour chicken. Was okay for Chinese but not my favorite Food: 2 Service: 5
