HOWEVER, I brought a large pan of potato salad for $95 on Saturday September 2, 2023 from Kings in Clinton Ave. This was not my first time buying their potato salad. I had an event to serve 40 plus people and as people were attempting to eat the salad we could not eat it because the potato salad was very tangy with a bitter taste. I had to make it clear to my guests that the salad came from Kings and that I didn't make it. Due to my positive experience in the past with buying potato salad. Such a great experience, the service was excellent. Wanda our waitress pays attention to every detail, she is phenomenal! ? ?King's ? has the kindest staff that made us feel at home, this place has great food with a broad selection on the menu.
Usually the food and service is great!!! I ordered cornbeef hash it was very fatty. Maybe they changed cooks. The grits wasn't seasoned at all. However, i will go back but never order the cornbeef hash.
Love, love, love this place! Nice atmosphere and once the server gets to your table.... it is all good. The concern is at times....slow service! Great food makes up for the slow service.
