Kingsmen Ale House

I was here for happy hour because on the internet this was the best of the best 10 bars in Lethbridge. 5 stars. Now the décor is nice, the service was good and friendly, but the prices for happy hour were outrageous. Over $9 for a pint of beer and $10 for 6 small buffalo cod bites . The bar had a fairly impressive selection of beer on tap, but none were included in happy hour. Only Bud light, etc. Not impressed at all. A pint of beer at my favourite bar in Calgary during happy hour is $5, and all 40 some labels are included

One star because I have to put a star absolute disgrace why have a kids menu if you don’t want kids in there, customers and staff rolling their eyes. Yes my son 2yo was being extra loud we were trying to calm him down we don’t like it either but to be so obvious is just so rude. From the minute we arrived yes we let kids in but we are a pub.Yes a British one which are family friendly and have high chairs/booster seats when serving food. Would not come again you should should 100% remove the child’s menu.

Very disappointed. I had the steak sandwich and it was cooked to my order but had no flavour. I even spent the extra 5 on mushrooms and onions. Beans and mashed potatoes were lacking flavour as well.To top it off my wife had the potato and bacon soup. It was basically mashed potatoes and gravy it looked identical to my mashed potatoes. I rarely complain about food but unfortunately this was a bust.

From a British point of view the service was great, the atmosphere was great , the food was wonderful although the mushy peas could be a little bit more mushy peas than just regular peas mushed up. Would definately go back and recommend it to anyone who likes good beer and good food. Good place for sports fans as well. TV's are well placed to be seen in all spots. Réservez une table maintenant

First time dinning here and it was different from what I was used to. Glad we decided to stop in and try it. The food was served with a smile and everything was great. There are a few other things on the menu I plan to try the next time. If you have not had the Scotch Egg, do yourself a favor and order it.

Very interesting place to visit. I could see how it would be a very popular place in the evenings. The clubhouse sandwich was tasty although I didn't taste anything Guiness related as described. Waitress was polite and very attentive.

Incredible allergy accommodation! Mitch, Sprocket, and Brenna helped me find a meal I could eat with several food allergies. Very rare to find this kind of service within the city — thank you!!

It was alright, the fish an chips were the special at 20% off. The coleslaw was what I enjoyed the most.Staff were good.There were a few items on the menu that I would like to try Réservez une table maintenant
