I highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner, or meeting. The sushi are very inventive, meaning you can't find it anywhere else. The price is really reasonable. You would spend about the same if you went to other restaurants such as Olive Garden. The restaurant has ample parking spot and big dining area. I was very disappointed with this place. I had looked at the reviews and photos online and was expecting an amazing meal. Instead I got one of the saddest lunches ever. The potion was small the presentation was very bad almost like they didn?t care. For the price I was expecting a lot more. The quality of the fish that I got was not good I had pieces with skin on them that I had to throw away. All in all I wouldn?t recommend this place it?s a waste of money.
I was really disappointed with the management at Kita Modern Japanese. First, my wife had wine spilled all over her and her dress. We tried to move past it and appreciated the bartender’s kindness and good service up to that point. But then our food arrived—overcooked and terrible. To make matters worse, the manager never came out to check on my wife, even though her dress was soaked in wine. Overall, the dinner was ruined. Food: 2 stars.
This was our very first time here. The dining room is very modern and clean. The service was quick, efficient, and very friendly. And the food!! The calamari was well prepared. The crab fried rice was wonderful, especially with the nori on the top.And the sushi is some of the best I have had in a while. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience. Food was okay, with the exception of the Crab Rangoon ???? ???? ! Best I have ever had! We had 5 ppl in our party and all ordered at the same time. Our food came out separately with about 10 minutes between each person getting theirs. Waitstaff was nice and decor was great. I got the Hawaiian chicken which was fairly soggy.
Absolutely fabulous meal, presentation was superb, staff was warm and friendly. Can’t recommend enough. They stand head and shoulders above the standard sushi fare in the area. Beautiful venue with excellent service—our waiter was professional and courteous. Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. The chicken was tough and rubbery, lacking any real flavor.
