The moment I entered, the warm and welcoming ambiance immediately set the stage for a memorable meal. Every detail was carefully considered, from the stylish decor to the friendly, attentive staff. This restaurant does not offer authentic Japanese ramen. The noodles are comparable to the dry instant noodles you can buy for just a dime at any Asian grocery store. While the broth is decent, the noodles are a major letdown. I'm surprised to find this at a Kitakata Ramen location, as Kitakata is one of the most prestigious ramen chains in Japan, and they would never permit their franchises to use dry noodles. If they were to find out about this, they could risk losing their right to the Kitakata name. After just one bite, I couldn't continue eating. I hope the owner sees this review and decides to switch to fresh noodles. Sadly, I won't be coming back.
This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were blown away by the amazing food! I ordered the ABURI MISO RAMEN, and my first impression was that it was absolutely delicious, although it had a strong aroma that reminded me of red wine. I’m not sure if red wine was actually in the recipe, but the scent was unmistakable. For appetizers, my husband chose the FRIED GYOZA and BAN NAI BUNS. The buns were my favorite; the pork was incredibly juicy, and the flavors blended perfectly. I've taken pictures of all the dishes I mentioned.
This location is just like the one in Lombard. I chose this restaurant because they have a vegan option that many other ramen spots don’t provide. We ordered the Vegan Spicy Miso Ramen, and I absolutely loved it. The flavor was spot on, and the portion was quite generous for one person. We also got two servings of Spicy Edamame, which made for tasty appetizers. However, I wasn't fond of the Fried Peppers. Overall, the food is great. Interestingly, they offer either vegetarian broth or pork broth, but no chicken broth.

After visiting several ramen places, I've made this one my favorite. The ramen here is absolutely delicious, featuring homemade noodles and generous slices of pork that are far superior to what you get at other eateries. The broth is rich and satisfying as well. Also, be sure to try the fried chicken served over rice when you visit—it’s incredible! I can't quite put my finger on how they do it, but it puts your favorite fast food chicken to shame!
Very very delicious ramen place! I always try to go right when they open because this place gets busy! And I can see why the food is just really good. The noodles are especially good and the service is really nice. I've been here since they first opened and they are consistent! Every time I visit, I get what I expected. My kids also love the noodles and fried chicken. Will be returning again soon!
The restaurant has a charming atmosphere. I decided to try the fried dumplings for the first time, and they were delightful. However, I didn't really enjoy the Spicy Miso Ramen, but that's probably because I'd never had it before. It wasn't actually spicy; it was more on the warm side. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 3 out of 5.
The menu, featuring photos, is straightforward and easy to navigate. The portion sizes and food quality are just right. The service is prompt and welcoming. This is definitely one of my favorite ramen spots in Schaumburg. Highly recommended!

I've been going to this restaurant for several years and have always had a wonderful experience. I usually order the large Spicy Miso Ramen, and it’s huge! If you choose to get it, make sure you don’t plan on having dinner later!
