Got there early and door was locked so we had to wait in the frigid cold until we caught the eye of someone inside who came to the door and told us that we were early!!!! had pre-requested the Fondue Chinoise. We were shown a...short list of starters, none of which appealed to us so we asked if they had a salad of some kind. they said yes, so we ordered just a salad with our fondue. salad was very good. ordered a glass of Proseco as apertif and they didn't.t have any so got a glass of champagne instead. We have been to this restaurant 4 years ago and wanted to go back. Since then the restaurant has been remodeled new chef new concept. The interior is not finished and totally destroyed the old Austrian Stube experience. Personal is not from austria and not...experienced. The food is very expensive and quality not good. Portions are very small. Eg the deer with polenta is around 40 euros , not great and very small. We were with a party of 8 and all are very disappointed. Bathrooms are gender neutral but no signs. Also it was way to hot inside the restaurant and a strange ambience. So I won’t recommend anyone to go here. For this kind of money there are way better alternatives in the area!
The restaurant was cozy and charming. The 6-course menu was lovely, although expensive. The sections were more than sufficient. The appetizers rosecake and artichokes as well as silk tofu were interesting delicious. The grilled arctic charcoal and roast duck were beautifully cooked with an Asian swirl that reminded us of home. Finally the desserts Pavlova, Chiffon cakes and chestnuts / figs palat ham not disappointed. The service was great with attentive staff and clear statement of the dishes. We enjoyed the dinner very much.
on registration (we were 9 people) we got an exquisite 7-course surprise menu of the widely traveled, famous cook . baked brittle, gorgeous carrot soup with blunzen insert, riebl with slightly stocked dotter (very fine designed!) etc....Gams and trout everything very unusually prepared. it was a special evening with the highest quality, but it has its price. the soaking range is adequate. in the side tables some guests were able to look at the usual fondue and jealously our specialities and our enthusiasm.

we were in the restaurant at lunchtime. the external impression has addressed us, also the interior is tasteful, but the menu offered is very sparse (we have experienced it is not freshly cooked, but supplied and warmed up.) the ordered bark soup is in a small dish, without taste, we had to season. the suppe costs 12 euro, without brot and ingredients. for the kulinar otherwise well-established region a disappointment and priceless completely overpriced.
je moet dit reserveren en zorgen dat je met een koets wordt brought door het adembenemende landschap. het krakkemikkige bouw is het udste in de regio en is fondue. eten is degelijk, wijnkaart real absurd (almhof schneider is de peculiaraar dus vandaar) maar de sfeer blijft je vooral bij. ook met de accordeonspeler die uderwetse liedjes zing duur maar de moeite waard!
already the ride through a deeply snowy valley to the restaurant, best with the horse sled is the hit. a beautiful local with a great kitchen and a very nice service. reservation is essential in the main season. However, this is already very difficult because the masters often have booked weeks beforehand.Although situated at a remote location - not a secret tip.
the fondue (in oil) was excellent, the atmosphere original (respect very warm rooms) and the operation very attentive. I can't say anything about the trips, as we were invited - but I have rarely eaten meat in such an outstanding quality.

we spent the last winter at the seasoning one evening in the monasterle - we were all but enthusiastic. overpriced - the foods are not just to the high claim - the only nice was the service, the rest absolutely disappointing.
There's only one menu. The service was not the most friendly also the vines that accompanied the menu were not the best. The restaurant is very expensive is not worth the money.
